The first step has been taken toward implementing "free roaming" for the European Union. The bloc came to an agreement that travelers will no longer have to pay roaming charges for using their mobile phones within the EU. The new arrangement will take effect in June this year.

Singapore tops Oliver Wyman Forum’s inaugural Urban Mobility Readiness Index: How Cities Rank on Mobility Ecosystem Development. The index ranks 30 cities on how prepared they are to incorporate the latest mobility technologies and what they are doing to reshape urban mobility. The top five cities are Singapore, Amsterdam, London, Shanghai, and New York. Dubai ranks 19th and Riyadh ranks 26th globally.
