  • DEWA, RTA allow electric vehicles owners to use Green Charger services

    To enhance seamless digital integration of Dubai’s infrastructure as global technological advanced city, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will let all electric vehicles (EV) owners to use Green Charger services when they register their EVs at the Roads and Transport Authority Dubai (RTA). DEWA will also instantly create an EV account for them once registered. The new service enables EV owners (commercial and non-commercial) to charge their vehicles at more than 300 DEWA EV green charger stations across the Emirate.

    Dubai’s roads and transport authority (RTA) has launched a trial run of two electric buses between La Mer South, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz street and Al Sufouh tram station. The launch is coordinated with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Volvo Bus Company, Meraas Real Estate, and ABB Group, reflecting RTA’s efforts to provide sustainable and environmentally-friendly mass transit means.
