The annual IPv6 Enhanced Summit was held online on June 23, in its 3rd Middle-Eastern edition, with international and regional industry experts who gave insightful keynotes on the online summit’s main theme “IPv6 Enhanced: Inspiring Innovation, Boosting Middle East Digitalization”.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Government announced that it will use biometric face recognition (Facial ID) to register customers in the "UAE Pass" application, the first national digital identity and signature solution that enables users to identify themselves to government service providers in all emirates through a smartphone-based authentication.
