Oliver Wyman Forum ranks which cities lead the smart mobility revolution

Singapore tops Oliver Wyman Forum’s inaugural Urban Mobility Readiness Index: How Cities Rank on Mobility Ecosystem Development. The index ranks 30 cities on how prepared they are to incorporate the latest mobility technologies and what they are doing to reshape urban mobility. The top five cities are Singapore, Amsterdam, London, Shanghai, and New York. Dubai ranks 19th and Riyadh ranks 26th globally.

Softbank fund helps Silicon Valley startup develop robotic delivery technology

A Silicon Valley startup working on self-driving delivery vehicles announced nearly a billion dollars in fresh funding from the SoftBank Vision Fund. The $940 million in financing from SoftBank brought the total amount of funding raised by Nuro to more than $1 billion, with investors including Greylock Partners and Gaorong Capital, according to the company.
