Colombia’s Santa Marta City has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global solution providers Gorilla Technology Group, Inc., NC Digy Smart Cities, and AECOM to become an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered smart city, advancing Latin America’s urban innovation.

In groundbreaking advancement, Gorilla Technology has entered a multi-year agreement with ONE AMAZON to launch the world’s first Internet of Forests (IoF). This initiative brings together key industry players including AECOM, CAF (Development Bank of Latin America), Abu Dhabi Investment Group (ADIG), MIT Media Lab, and Goldman Sachs.
