Moscow ranked third among cities in the world for innovations against COVID-19

Moscow ranked third among cities in the world in the Coronavirus Innovation Map ranking, which shows the quantity and quality of innovative solutions against COVID-19.

The list, compiled by the research center StartupBlink, includes 80 cities from 31 countries.

The map is a directory of hundreds of innovations and solutions globally that could support and strengthen the response to COVID-19, helping people to adapt to life during the COVID-19 pandemic and to connect innovators so they can collaborate on solutions.

Moscow, with 4,891 points, was second only to two cities - San Francisco with 11,983 points and New York with 5,083 points.

Moscow's innovative projects include a contact tracking system based on artificial intelligence SmartAirkey; a service for remote monitoring of COVID-19 symptoms Medsenger; a service for free remote medical consultations SberHealth, among others.

The SmartAirkey, is a smartphone access control system allows the user to store all keys in one mobile application. SmartAirkey includes smart lock (access controller), digital key management service, mobile application for IOS, Android platforms.

Medsenger.AI Platform allows to connect remote dialogue "patient-doctor" with specialized intelligent agents (AI), which automatically (but under the supervision of the attending physician) implement a certain set of functions that are relevant specifically for the patient concerned.

SberHealth is an AI-enabled symptom collection system and a virtual assistant for the doctor in making clinical decisions. The system asks patients relevant question and relays it back to the doctor who provides informed consultation.
