Dubai-based air, travel service provider now offers smart mobility solutions

dnata Travel Group, a leading global travel management company, announced its appointment as the exclusive representation partner for Karhoo, a revolutionary ground transportation technology ecosystem, across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar.

Geoff Wood, Senior Vice President, Destination Management and Partnerships, dnata Travel Group, said: "We are proud to be appointed as the exclusive representation partner for Karhoo in the GCC. The Karhoo mobility marketplace for taxis and private cars will help complete the final piece of the travel jigsaw, allowing customers of travel businesses across the region to seamlessly book the first and last mile of their travel journeys. We look forward to a long and successful partnership."

Karhoo brings licensed fleets around the world together with travel and hospitality businesses to offer smart mobility solutions to travelers. The company's Mobility Exchange platform provides simple products and integration options allowing partners to natively offer mobility on their websites and mobile apps through a marketplace of 1.8 million vehicles worldwide.

The partnership will allow dnata Representation Services, a part of the Dubai-based travel air and travel provider, to offer travel agents access to Karhoo's innovative services, enabling them to seamlessly book reliable airport transfers and offer travelers a truly door-to-door experience.

Vanessa Heydorff, Senior Vice President, Karhoo, said: "We're very excited about the partnership with dnata, one of the world's largest air and travel service providers, which goes far beyond everything we've done with our partners in the past. dnata will offer agents and travelers access to the Karhoo mobility marketplace so they can book airport transfers as part of travel packages.”

dnata will become Karhoo’s exclusive commercial distributor in the GCC region. Thus, through the former, all regional travel and hospitality businesses can now implement seamless mobility on their websites or mobile apps. “We anticipate that this new proposition for travelers in the Middle East will improve their overall journey, particularly during the time of the global pandemic."
