UK manufacturer partners with tech firm in bid to improve safety in self-driving cars

A leading UK automotive manufacturing company has partnered with a technology firm in an effort to improve vehicle safety in self-driving cars. Delphi Automotive PLC, which specializes in automotive parts - has announced that it has made a minority investment in Israeli-based laser-based sensor firm Innoviz Technologies.

Czech Republic’s €45m low emission vehicle scheme approved

The European Commission has found Czech plans to support the creation of a network of refueling and recharging stations for low emission vehicles to be in line with EU state aid rules. The measure contributes to reducing CO2 emissions without unduly distorting competition in the Single Market.

T-Mobile Austria, a Deutsche Telekom company, has selected Huawei's OTN solution for its planned metro WDM and backbone WDM. The projects are intended to build a next-generation large-capacity WDM transport network with leading performance to support the growth of network traffic and services of T-Mobile Austria over the next five years.
